David Roger's Command Ohio County At a Court held for Ohio County on Monday the 6 day of July 1789 Present Zachariah.Sprigg.Zaac.Gock Benjamin Biggs and John Henderson, gentlemen, on motion of Bazell Brown ____ for a certificate to the Executive, saying that Brown was wounded in the service of the State of Virginia, under the command of Col. Rodgers, October the ___, 1779 and as there is no surgeon in the county to examine the disabilitys of B. Brown, the Court proceeded to examine him and it is their opinion, that his wounds render him unable to get a livelyhood, and therefore pray that he may receive pay as a pensioner.
