Hawkins, Bartlett                Pen. 181                   1786  
Soldier-3rd Regiment of Light Dragoons
               

   I do with the advice of the Council hereby certify that Bartlett Hawkins 
about 23 years of age, late a private in the 3rd Virginia Regiment appears to 
have been disabled in such a manner while in the service of the United States, 
as entitle him to the sum of five pounds yearly; which allowance is to commence 
the first day of January 1786.  Given under my hand as Governor of the 
Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 5th of December 1786.
