Note from submitter:

I had the privledge to see the Meacham/Miles Family bible on July 8, 1998
in
Christiansburg Va.  I had been trying to set this up for about 3 yrs. and
finally
made it!  It was well worth it as you will see.  This is the only known
documentation
showing Elijah D. Meacham and his wife with their children.  I believe the
early Meacham entries were made by Elijah D. Meacham himself because the
writing matches closely to his signature on his pension application in
1818.  

There is also some information that I can't make out, I am going to try to
enlarge it and see if I can read it then, it is partially readable now.    
  
I hope others in the Meacham (various spellings) and Miles families can use
this
information.  
Elijah D. Meacham married Francis Miles March 8, 1837 in Montgomery Co. and

to my knowledge they never had any children. (None as seen are listed in
the bible)
The bible is in pretty sad brittle shape, I have pictures, which are pretty
easy to 
read and that is what I used to enter this info.
