VA Plat Book E, ,pg 449 - Surveyed for Andrew Beshang, 330 acres of land by virtue of three entries viz: One for 100 acres made the 8th day of August, 1783, at a Land Office Treasury Warrant NO. 13286, and issued the 3rd day of August, 1782 for James Clerk and by him assigned to Jacob Zoglar by whom the same and the entry, however, is assigned to A. Bushong, The second: entry made the 27th day of August 1791, a land office Treasury Warrant No. 17875 assigned in part to him by John Preston and 30 acres on part of an entry of 400 acres as made the 1st day of March, 1787 for John Smith on the last mentioned warrant by him assigned to said Bushong, lying in Montgomery County on the head waters of Indian Run, a branch of Roanoak, including his house and improvement, beginning at a large white oak corner to the land of John Preston and Grisham's heirs and with the latter S 21 E 92, to two black oaks where three chestnuts stood S 56 W 8 to a white oak and chestnut Prestons and Barringers land with the same leaving as Frishams S 70 E 60 to two large white oaks in a --f (?)lat E 40 poles to two black oak saplings near the head of a hollow N 43 E 102 to two white oaks N 17 E 60 crossing Indian Run to a black and white oak on a grassy hill thence leaving Prestons and Bargers land N 46 E 60 to two black and white oak saplings N 63 W 234 crossing the mountain to a white oak by a glade N11 E 28 to a large white oak Henry Prices corner N 74 W 80 to a black and double black oak to Prestons corner and with his land south 166 poles to a blck oak on the top of the mountain S 13 W 46 to a black and white oak S 43 W3 to the beginning.
