Ludowick Francisco Grant, 1793 - Botetourt Co. VA (now Montgomery) Henry Lee, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant Number nineteen thousand six hundred and fifty nine, There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Ludowick Francisco, a certain tract or parcel of Land containing thirty five acres by survey bearing date the second day of August one thousand seven hundred and ninety one, lying and being in the County of Botetourt on the South side of Craigs Creek a branch of James River joining his own granted Land and bounded as followeth, towit, Beginning at a hickory corner to his old granted Land, and turning thence South forty two degrees East one hundred poles crossing a branch to two pines thence South thirty four degrees West one hundred poles to a pine and white oak by a Branch, thence North eighty two degrees West thirty four poles crossing a branch to two spanish oaks on a line of his old grant and the lines of the same North twenty two degrees East ninety poles to two pines, and thence North six degrees, West sixty six poles to the beginning with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances to the said Ludowick Francisco and his Heirs for ever. In Witness whereof the said Henry Lee, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the twenty first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety three, and of the Commonwealth the seventeenth.
