Will Of Levi Beckleheimer, 1892 - Montgomery County, VA & Raleigh County, WV Recorded In The Raleigh Co. Clerk's Office; Beckley, WV Will Book 1: Page 185 In the name of God Amen. I, Levi Beckleheimer of the County of Montgomery and State of Virginia do hereby make publish and declair this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all wills by me heretofore made ~ First I desire my executor hereinafter named to pay my funeral expenses and all of my just debts and liabilities as soon as conveniently be done after my my decease- Second It is my will that my farm on which I now live lying on the waters of Brush Creek in the County of Montgomery and State of Virginia, shall remain undivided till my youngest child Hines Beckleheimer attains the age of twenty-one years and that my personal property shall remain in in the possession of my wife Elizabeth and that my sons Holman and Hines shall remain with her and work the lands to the best advantage and for the benefit and support of my family and that my son Moses shall have his support by and his house with them, till the land as hereinafter provided shall be divided and no charge shall be made against him for his support, till he comes in possession of his share of the land ~ When Hines my youngest son is twenty-one years old, two thirds of the personal property then on hand shall be equally divided among Moses Holman and Hines Third ~ Having given to my son Charles & my daughter Ellen, wife of George Flinchim the lands they now live on in Raleigh County West Virginia, they are excluded from the benefits of this will ~ Fourth. To my sons Moses Holman and Hines I bequeath my entire farm on which I now live lying on the waters of Brush Creek in the County of Montgomery, and State of Virginia, to be equally divided among them subject to the dower of my wife Elizabeth It is furthermore my wish that should either one of my sons mentioned in this clause die without heirs, his interest shall be divided equally between the remaining two, and should two of them die without heirs their interest shall go to the survivors ~ Fifth ~ To my daughter Susan, I bequeath the residue, or the unsold portion of my Raleigh land, lying and situated in the County of Raleigh West Virginia, and adjoining the lands of Charles Beckleheimer and others and supposed to contain seventy-five acres ~ Sixth ~ To my grand children (sons of Charles Beckleheimer) William J. Beckleheimer and Levi Beckleheimer, I bequeath Ten Dollars, Five Dollars to each Seventh ~ To Comlda Spencer the girl now living with me I give one milk cow and Fifty dollars in money to be placed in the hands of a gardian till she marries or is Twenty-one years old ~ Eighth ~ To Preston Epperley's Children I give one bond of One Hundred Dollars, executed by Charles Beckleheimer, on land I sold him in Raleigh County West Virginia and bearing date the 23rd day of May 1891 ~ Twenty- five Dollars of said note to General G. Epperley when he is Twenty-one years old. Twenty-five Dollars to Sidney Lee Epperley, when he is Twenty-one years old; Twenty Five Dollars of it to Charles H. Epperley when he is Twenty-one years old; and Twenty-five dollars to Kyle A. Epperley when he is Twenty-one years old. I also bequeath to the last child of Preston Epperley at this date Twenty-five Dollars to be paid when he is Twenty-one years old, and to my daughter Jennie wife of Preston Epperley, Twenty-five Dollars to be paid as soon as convenient after my death ~ Ninth ~ It is my will that any provision, store or grain and hay on hand at the time of my decease, shall be held for the use of my family ~ Tenth ~ After my funeral expenses and debts and sums herein bequeathed have been paid it is my will that the remainder of any bond accounts or money shall be paid to my wife Elizabeth Beckleheimer ~ Eleventh ~ I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my friend Lewis Payne Executor of this my last will and testiment and I do not require of him security ~ In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 30th day of August in the year of our Lord, One-Thousand and Eight- hundred and ninety-two Levi Beckleheimer his X mark {seal} Signed sealed and delivered by the said Testator Levi Beckleheimer and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
