MARY C. BRINKLEY AUSTIN 

Portsmouth - Mrs. Mary Brinkley Austin of 4416 South St., died Thursday at 2:30 
p.m. in her home.

A native of Nansemond County, she was the wife of George Austin and a daughter 
of the late Jesse Martin and Mrs. Donna [sic; Diana O.*] Wilkins Brinkley.

She was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church.

Besides her husband, surviving is a daughter, Miss Norma Paige Austin of 
Portsmouth.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in I. O. Hill & Co. Funeral 
Home, Suffolk, by Dr. R.E. Brittle and the Rev. David D. Walker. Burial will be 
in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
