Constance Road, died September 4, 1987, in a nursing home. She was a native of Gates County, N.C. She was the widow of Charles Daughtrey Andrews. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church, and a lifetime member of Riverview Garden Club. She was an honorary member of the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, and a former member of the World War I Auxiliary. Survivors include four daughters, Frances Ramsey of Charlotte Courthouse, Va., Sarah Fletcher of Suffolk, and Charlotte McCutcheon and Mary Jane Conner, both of Richmond; a son, Moody E. Stallings of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Carmany. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
