HENRY BRUCE ARTHUR 

  SOMERTON - A funeral service for Henry Bruce Arthur, 66, was held Sunday, 
March 24, in Somerton United Methodist Church by the Rev. T.T. Markham Jr.

  Burial was in the church cemetery with I.O. Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, 
in charge.

  Pallbearers were: John Carroll Ellis, T.H. Fowler, Haywood Fowler, Roger 
Fowler, Arthur T. Collings, Jesse Darden Langston, E. Curl Jr. and Jack R. 
Parker.

  Arthur, husband of Mrs. Mary Jane Cifers Arthur died in Southampton 
Memorial Hospital.

  A native of Somerton, he was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church.

  Other survivors include three sons, Thomas Vernon Arthur II of Whaleyville, 
Henry Bruce Arthur, Jr. of Virginia Beach and John Eugene Arthur of Somerton.
