        Funeral of Veteran. 

  SUFFOLK, VA., December 7.- The remains of Caleb R. Busby, a former 
Confederate veteran, aged sixty-four years, who died yesterday in 
Portsmouth, Va., arrived here to-day and were buried in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery.  An escort from the Tom Smith Camp followed the body to 
the graveside. 


Caleb Rodgers BUSBY, Confederate veteran, 
Gates Co., NC native, d. 6 Dec 1908, Portsmouth, age 64, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block F, Lot 47*), Suffolk, 7 Dec 1908, 
"Times-Dispatch" (Richmond, VA), Dec. 8, 1908, p. 2, col. 7
