BOOTHE Suffolk, April 6 - Mrs. Annie Boothe, 54, wife of R.D. Boothe, of Blackstone, died Saturday night at 11:20 o'clock in a hospital in Blackstone [sic; Farmville] after an illness of two months. Besides her husband, she is survived by six children, Mrs. B.L. Riddick, of Suffolk, R.F.D.; Mrs. Horace Johnson, of Suffolk; Miss Mary Boothe, of Blackstone; and Robert, Henry D., and Daniel J. Boothe, all of Blackstone; one sister, Mrs. C.E. Rountree, of Suffolk; two brothers, J.C. and Jesse Jones, both of Suffolk, and several nieces and nephews. The body arrived this afternoon on the Norfolk & Western train and was carried to the home of Mrs. C.E. Rountree, 104 Newport Street. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Bethlehem Christian Church by the R.E. Brittle and Dr. W.D. Harwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
