R.E. Brittle. The members of the church choir accompanied by Miss Mary Jones, sand "Rock of Ages," "Nearer My God to Thee," and "God Will Take Care of You." There were many floral tributes. Active pallbearers: Leslie Rountree, Gilbert Rountree, Ralph Johnson, Leroy Goodwin, Odell Carson, A.D. Smith, A.D. McDowell, Charlie Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family. Burial was in the Bethlehem Church cemetery.
