BLANCHE KILBY BELL, SUFFOLK, STATE CLUB LEADER Suffolk - Mrs. Blanche Kilby Bell, 87, widow of G. Lloyd Bell and a club leader in the state, died Monday in Hillcrest Senior Citizens Nursing Home. A Suffolk native, she was a graduate of Suffolk College, a member of the Social Club, Suffolk Magazine Club, and Lake Kilby Garden Club. She helped form many organizations. She was a member and past president of the Ministering Circle of Kings Daughters. She also had a part in bringing a visiting nurse to Suffolk and in organizing the Hill Street Night School. In the Daughters of the American Revolution, she was regent many years and helped organize Constantia Chapter in Suffolk. Through her work, the Suffolk DAR erected the Constantia House in Cedar Hill Cemetery which is a replica of a 1737 homesite. She was a member of the Daughters of the Colonists, the Founders and the Patriots and the Order of Runnymeade, a past president of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and a past state president of the Colonial Dames of the 17th century. She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and its Woman’s Society of Christian Service. Her parents were Wallace and Margaret Tynes Kilby. Survivors are a nephew, Wallace Kilby Brown of Richmond, and a great-niece, Mrs. W. Roy Smith of Petersburg. A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home by the Rev. John Teter of Main Street Methodist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill. Blanche Glazebrook (KILBY; Mrs. G.
