The Rev. C.T. Topping, pastor of Oxford Methodist Church, will officiate. The body will remain at the Baker Funeral Home until 3:45 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Mr. Bailey was the son of the late David R. and Louise Royall Bailey, of Chesterfield and Amelia Counties. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mildred Saunders Bailey, and a sister, Mrs. Nettie Tunstal, of Jetersville. His widow (1875 - 1964) is marked with William, but she is buried with her parents, Orris Buchanan & Mary Ann (COMBEST) SAUNDERS, in Whitesville Cemetery, Whitesville, in her native Andrew Co., MO. Her photo - added by Richard Hollis - and one of her gravestone - added by Nancy Nelson - are posted with Find a Grave Memorial #15139395. His parents, David Richardson & Louisa Frances (ROYALL) BAILEY, are buried in Jetersville Methodist Church Cemetery, Jetersville, Amelia Co. His father (1844-1914) was a Confederate veteran, having served in Co. F, 25th VA Battalion, Local Defense Troops. His widow (1845 - 1920) applied for a pension for his service in June 1916, in Amelia Co.
