BLANCHARD BURIED SUNDAY IN HOLLY LAWN CEM. Mrs. Cora Modlin Blanchard of the Holland Road, died unexpectedly January 27, 1956 at South Quay. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Blanchard and daughter of the late Robert Lee Modlin and Emma Alexander Modlin of Ahoskie, N.C. She was a member of the Suffolk Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Hancock, of Suffolk, and Mrs. Dennis Boyd, of the Holland Road, Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. James H. Bangley and Mrs. R.A. Baines, of Suffolk, two brothers, R. Braxton Modlin of Tarboro, N.C. and Robert N. Modlin of Smithfield and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 3:30 by the Rev. John B. Boyd, pastor of the Suffolk Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Cora Lee (MODLIN; Mrs. Charles L.)
