BAINES Suffolk - Mrs. Mary Sue Saunders Baines, 89, of 130 North St., widow of Rufus Lee Baines, died Monday in Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a daughter of the late John Melza and Sarah Alice Jones Saunders of Isle of Wight County. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A. Maxwell Hundley and Mrs. Marshall C. Cook of Suffolk; three sisters, Mrs. Otis H. Powell and Mrs. Louis O. Nichols of Norfolk and Mrs. J. Paul Lankford of Franklin and a brother, Simon Saunders of Carrsville. A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
