Suffolk, Va., July 7. - Riddick Baines, Sr., died today at his home near Whaley Station, Va. He suffered a stroke of paralysis about four months ago and after slight improvement had another stroke on Thursday of this week. The funeral will take place from the residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.T. Hines, of Suffolk, and Misses Lucy A. and Eugenia Baines, of the county - and two sons - J.S. and Riddick Baines, Jr. Riddick BAINES, Sr., farmer & carpenter, Confederate veteran, b.
