SUFFOLK - Wallace Kilby "Trease" Baines, Jr., 58, 1624 Cypress Chapel Road, died Wednesday in a Norfolk hospital. Born in Nansemond County, he was a machinist for Hobbs & Adams Engineering Co. and was a Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church and its Men's Bible Class. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ruth Daily [sic; Dale] Baines; and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude B. King of Suffolk. A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Allen R. Blakley and the Rev. Dr. R.E. Brittle. Burial will be in Cypress Chapel Church Cemetery.
