W.W. Sherman, pastor of Scotland Neck Methodist Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. J. Webb Pinner Jr., organist, played two hymns, "My Faith Looks Up To Thee" and "Rock Of Ages." The casket was covered with a pall of lavender chrysanthemums and pink carnations. Pallbearers were Alfred Russell, Earl Russell, E. Graham Mathias, J.T. Duck, John E. Freeman, Thurman Jordan, W.W. Bratton and Quinton Jordan. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Minnie Bray SUFFOLK - Mrs. Minnie Lorraine Bray, 70, died Sunday at 8:45 a.m. in Community Hospital, Scotland Neck, N.C. A daughter of John and Amelia [sic*] Russell Brown, she was a native of Gates County, N.C., and the widow of Grover C. Bray. She is survived by two sons, Grover Lloyd Bray of Scotland Neck, with whom she lately made her home, and Russell Elliott Bray of Charlotte, N.C.; six sisters, Mrs. A.D. Newton of Wilmington, N.C., Mrs. W.T. Taylor of Franklin, Mrs. J.A. King of Gates, N.C., Mrs. C.L. Eason of Norfolk, Mrs. J.T. Duck of Franklin and Mrs. Quinton Jordan of Suffolk, and a brother, John E. Brown, of Troutville. Services were held at I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home here Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W.W.
