He was the son of Noah and Mrs. Maggie State* Brock, and a native of Isle of Wight County [sic], and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Ryland Brock, Richmond, Woodrow Brock, Chicago, and James Brock, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Tate, South Hill, Mrs. Audrey Dasconey, Springdale, Conn., and Mrs. Mildred Morgan, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; two brothers, Marshall Brock, Sedley, and Galvin Brock, Kenbridge; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Carr, Sedley, and Mrs. Naomi Williams, Carrsville. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Son Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Donald E. Trump, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk.
