Mrs. Thelma C. Brokaw Dies In Raiford Hospital After Short Illness 

  Mrs. Thelma Cloud Brokaw, aged 39, widow of August Brokaw of Cincinnati and 
daughter of the Rev. A.E. Cloud and the late Bertha B. Cloud, died Friday 
afternoon at Raiford hospital in Franklin after an illness of a few days. 

  Mrs. Brokaw, a former resident of Cincinnati and graduate of Guilford 
College, had for the past year attended Women’s Division University of North 
Carolina at Greensboro. 

  Funeral services will be held at Somerton Friends Church Sunday afternoon 
at 4 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. Jesse Stanfield assisted by Miss Fannie 
Pretlow and Dr. N.G. Newman.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Her husband (1897-1936) is buried in Baltimore Pike Cemetery, Cincinnati, 
   Hamilton Co., OH.  They m. 30 Aug 1927 in Highland Co., OH. 

Her parents are buried in West Grove Cemetery, Centerville, Wayne Co., IN.
