NANNIE E. BROOKS 

  Funeral services for Miss Nannie Estelle Brooks, who died Monday, were 
conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. 
Floyd Cox of Temple Baptist Church, Norfolk, and the Rev. Thomas Wood, pastor 
of Talbot Park Baptist Church, Norfolk.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were Herbert Brooks, Roy Brooks, Curtis Brooks, George Brooks, 
William Wasarhaley, Billy Wasarhaley, Robert Speight and Walton Stallings. 


Nannie Estelle BROOKS, former saleslady & hotel housekeeper, 
b. 27 Nov 1882, Sunbury, Gates Co., NC, d. 27 Mar 1967, Norfolk, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block G, Lot 31*), Suffolk, 29 Mar 1967, 
"Suffolk (VA) News-Herald," Vol. 45, No. 77, Thurs., Mar. 30, 1967, p. 10
