The body was brought to Suffolk and funeral services were held in Portsmouth Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and the body was carried to Cedar Hill Cemetery for burial. Mr. Davis was formerly employed in the Seaboard Airline shop at Portsmouth and was later transferred to Savannah. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and lived in Suffolk, before moving to Portsmouth. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Annie G. Barrett, a son, Reginald C. Barrett of Portsmouth, a sisters, Mrs. J.E. Howell of Berkley, and two brothers, Louis and Ellis Barrett, both of Suffolk. (BARRETT) BARRETT, are also buried in Cedar Hill - his mother possibly unmarked.
