Mrs. Delia Britt Succumbs at 48; Funeral Friday 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Delia H. [sic] Britt of Route 4, Box 745, Suffolk, 
will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. 
Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church.  Burial will be in Holly Lawn 
Cemetery. 

  Mrs. Britt, 48, died Monday at 6:45 a.m. at Obici Memorial Hospital after an 
illness of eight days. 

  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Emporia, and was the daughter 
of Thomas H. Archer and Mamie A. [sic; Nannie] Archer of Brunswick County. 

  She is survived by her husband, Benjamin F. Britt of the home; two sisters, 
Mrs. Ann Elliott of Collinsville and Mrs. Frances Bailey of Newport News; 
three brothers, George Archer, Sam Archer and Marian Archer of Amelia 
Courthouse.
