Miss [sic; Mrs.] Hattie H. Byrd 

  Hattie Hollowell Byrd, 87, of 2580 Pruden Blvd., died Friday in Autumn Care 
Nursing Home. 

  She was a native of Gates County, N.C., and the widow of Lonnie Byrd.  She 
was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of the late 
Alexander and Rosetta Spivey Hollowell. 

  Survivors include two stepdaughters, Lucy B. Holland and Louvenia B. Blythe 
of Franklin; a brother, Henry Hollowell of Hobbsville, N.C., six 
grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. 

  A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home 
with burial in the family cemetery at Holland Station. 

  The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 
Sunday.

  SUFFOLK - A funeral service for Hattie Hollowell Byrd, 87, was held Monday 
at 2:30 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home.  Burial was in the family 
cemetery, Holland Station. 

  Mrs. Byrd died Friday in Autumn Carr Nursing Home.  A native of Gates 
County, N.C., she was the widow of Lonnie Byrd.  She was a member of Beaver 
Dam Baptist Church. 

  Survivors include two stepdaughter, Lucy B. Holland and Louvenia B. Flythe 
[sic; Blythe] of Franklin; a brother, Henry Hollowell of Hobbsville, N.C.; 
six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
