MRS. LOZZIE BYRD DIES IN COUNTY 

Funeral At Holland Tomorrow Afternoon 

  Mrs. Ola Maie Byrd, wife of Lozzie Byrd, died at her home near Holland, Va., 
last night at 10:50 o'clock after a long illness, aged 47 years. 

  Besides her husband Mrs. Byrd is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Barnes, Mrs. 
S.P. Whitfield, both of Holland, Va.; Mrs. J.C. Finch, of Lawrenceville, Va., 
and Mrs. Elise Moody, of Portsmouth, Va.; two brothers, Eley P. and Jesse L. 
Holland, north [sic; both] of Holland, several nieces and nephews. 

  Funeral services will be held at the Holland Christian church conducted by 
the Rev. Carl M. Keyes, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Interment will be 
in the family cemetery, near Holland, Va.
