Crawford Barrett, and daughter of the late Charles Barrett and Elizabeth Kenyon Barrett, died at 3:30 yesterday morning on 10 January 1946 at the home of her son, Richard Barrett, in Newport News. She was born in St. Joseph, Mo. She is survived by her son; a daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Bruce Elliott of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. James A. Brady of St. Joseph, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at 2:30 this afternoon on 11 January 1946 at the I.O. Hill and Company Funeral Home in Suffolk with the Rev. Lewis Haskell officiating. ****************************************************************************** Barrett Funeral To Be Held Today SUFFOLK, Jan. 11 - Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Chase Barrett, 64, who died yesterday morning at the home of her son, Richard B. Barrett, in Newport News, are to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today at the Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Louis A. Haskell, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Mrs. Barrett was the widow of Richard Crawford Barrett and the daughter of the late Charles Bradford and Elizabeth Kenyon Chase, of St: Joseph Mo., and in 1901 came to Suffolk, where she made her home for 43 years. Surviving her are a son, Richard Bradford Barrett, of Newport News; a daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Bruce Elliott, of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. James A. Brady, of St. Joseph Mo.
