Mrs. Rosa Lee Byrd 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Byrd were held yesterday afternoon at 
4:00 o'clock at the Bethlehem Christian church conducted by the Rev. R.E. 
Brittle and Dr. John G. Truitt. 

  The members of the church choir accompanied by Mrs. Harry Schadel sang the 
hymns "Sometime We'll Understand" and "Asleep In Jesus," a duet, "No 
Disappointment In Heaven" was sung by Mrs. S.L. Wright and W.W. Darden. 

  There were many handsome floral tributes.  The casket was covered with a 
pall of pink roses, Baby's breath Ascension lilies and fern. 

  Active pallbearers were: O.M. Nance, E.R. Wyatt, P.C. Holland, Jr., C.F. 
Savage, N.H. Byrd, Jasper Oliver, Jasper L. Holland, and Mills Luter. 

  Burial was in the Bethlehem Christian Church cemetery.
