ROSALIE LANGSTON BYRD

   Funeral services for Mrs. Rosalie Langston Byrd were conducted at the R.W. 
Baker and Company Funeral home today at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Lowell A. Smoot, 
pastor of the Portsmouth United Congregation Christian church and Rev. H. 
Raymond Phelts, pastor of Liberty Spring Christian church. Burial was in the 
Liberty Spring Christian church cemetery.

   Active pallbearers were J.L. Byrd, Howard Byrd, C.D. Runnels, J. Ed Ames, 
C.J. Riddick, T.T. White, and W.H. Andrews.
