Va., April 2. - (Special) - [...] DEATH AT NURNEYVILLE. - Mrs. Ida V. Bradshaw died to-day at her home, in Nurneyville. The funeral will take place at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Baptist Church in Suffolk, Rev. J.F. Love officiating. Mrs. Bradshaw was originally Miss Ida Joyner, and she formerly attended school in Suffolk, where she had a number of friends. ****************************************************************************** The Funeral of the Late Mrs. Bradshaw - [...] Suffolk, Va.. April 3. - (Special.) - [...] MRS. BRADSHAW'S FUNERAL. - The funeral of Mrs. Ida V. Bradshaw, who died yesterday at Nurneyville, took place at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon from the Baptist Church in Suffolk. Rev. J.F. Love, the pastor, conducted the services. The remains were buried in Cedar Hill, the following acting as pall-bearers: J.E. Ballard, James Langston, W.C. Harrell, C. Ashley. J.H. Fenimore and J. Moore. Mrs. Ida V. Joyner, b. ca. 1860, Southampton Co., dt/o Moses & Martha Joyner m. 14 Dec 1882, at the Bride's Father's, by James E. Stephenson, Benjamin W. Bradshaw, b. ca. 1860, Southampton Co., sn/o Geo.W. & Margaret A. Bradshaw, Farmer (Southampton Co. MB5:321) Benjamin was buried (unmarked) in Cedar Hill, 6 Feb 1936. (D.Cert. 5321 {Pr.Geo.Co. - Bland #6}) Their daughter Flossie A(nnette) was living with Indianna's bro "Willie" William Thomas JOYNER in the 1900 Census (Jerusalem, Southampton Co.). She m. E. Carroll GOODRICH, and is buried in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Smithfield. Willie is buried with their parents, Moses Barnes & Martha Turner (LANKFORD) JOYNER, & his 1st wife in the JOYNER-HANCOCK family cemetery, on Ivor Rd.
