All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JOHN ERNEST BRADSHAW Funeral services for John Ernest Bradshaw, retired farmer of Carrsville, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Curtin Hoffman, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Bradshaw, 77, died Friday afternoon, November 30, in Raiford Memorial Hospital following a heart attack at Miles Service Station in Carrsville. He was the husband of Mrs. Anne Florence Gland Bradshaw of Carrsville and the son of the late Joseph Henry and Mrs. Nancy Womble Bradshaw of Southampton County. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife are six daughters, Mrs. John E. Carr of Myrtle, Mrs. Mary E. Carr and Mrs. Lonnie Carr, both of Carrsville, Mrs. Lois E. Carr of Windsor and Mrs. Marvin E. Pope and Mrs. Cullie Vick, both of Franklin; five sons, Ernest L. Bradshaw, William Russell Bradshaw, and Joseph Alfred Bradshaw, all of Carrsville, James Morgan Bradshaw of Myrtle and James Leroy Bradshaw of Beale’s Corner; 26 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Walters and the active pallbearers were Chester Carr, John Avis, Guthrie Ballard, Cephus Turner, Loftin Rhodes, Joseph Johnson, Clyde Hall and Wilson Miles.
