Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence, 216 Pinner Street, by Rev. John H. Blakemore. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Birdsong was active in church and club affairs in Suffolk. She was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church, and a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of that church. Clubs to which she belonged included the Suffolk Literary Club, Suffolk Women's Club and the Suffolk Garden Club. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin McLemore and Rosa Westbrook McLemore of Southampton County. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Helen B. Macklin and Mrs. Frances B. Darden, both of Suffolk; five sons, Thomas H. Birdsong, Jr., William McLemore Birdsong, Hall Franklin Birdsong, Harvard R. Birdsong - all of Suffolk - and Dr. McLemore Birdsong of Charlottesville, Va.; and 17 grandchildren. Also, one sister, Mrs. H.W. Bowen of Washington, N.C.; two brothers, Judge James L. McLemore of Suffolk and Dr. W.T. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin McLemore and Rosa Westbrook McLemore of Southampton County. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen B. Macklin and Mrs. Frances B. Darden, both of Suffolk; five sons, Thomas H. Birdsong, Jr., William McLemore Birdsong, Hall Franklin Birdsong and Harvey R. Birdsong, all of Suffolk, and Dr. McLemore Birdsong of Charlottesville; a sister, Mrs. H.W. Bowen of Washington, N.C.; two brothers, Judge James L. McLemore of Suffolk and Dr. W.T. Birdsong, Jr., Dr. McLemore Birdsong and William M., Hall F., and Harvey R. Birdsong, sons of Mrs. Birdsong, and Benjamin M. Birdsong, James L. McLemore, Jr., and H.
