Constance Road, died Feb 22, 1989, in a Virginia Beach medical center. Mrs. Barton, a native of Suffolk, was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She was a charter member of The Suffolk Book Club and was a former member of the Nansemond River Garden club. She was the widow of Henry C. Barton. She had attended Sweet Briar College. Survivors include a son, the Rev. Henry Causey Barton Jr., of Spartanburg, S.C.; a sister, Virginia N. Grace of Suffolk; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. James H. Newsom Jr. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home.
