MARIANNA PRENTIS CAUSEY BARTON

   LYNCHBURG, July 10 - Mrs. Marianna Prentis Barton, 88, widow of Lloyd 
Barton and mother of Dr. George L. Barton, headmaster of Virginia Episcopal 
School here, died Friday at her home in Lynchburg.  She was a native of 
Suffolk where funeral rites were conducted Saturday.  Other survivors include 
a son, Henry C. Barton, of Newport News, and a sister Mrs. T.S. Miller, of 
Christiansburg.

d. ca. 9 Jul 1954, Lynchburg, age 88, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block D, Lot 8*), Suffolk, 10 Jul 1954,
