All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ HENRY BROTHERS DEATH OF AGED CITIZEN Word was received this afternoon announcing the death of Mr. Henry Brothers, age 86, one of the oldest citizen of this county. Mr. Brothers lived at Cypress Chapel and was well known in this vicinity. He has several children living in Suffolk. The deceased had only been ill about a week or two, and his death will be a shock to his many friends. Mr. Brothers leaves several children, who live in Suffolk - Mr. C.R. Brothers, Mrs. B.M. Bruce, Mr. Archie Brothers, and Messrs. Bob and Bonnie Brothers, of Cypress. The funeral services will be held a the house tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock. The services will be conducted by the Rev. H.H. Butler, after which the remains will be laid to rest in the family burying ground.
