T.N. Grant. Four sons, two sons-in-law and two nephews were active pall-bearers - W.E., H.L., E.A. and G.C. Brothers, J.G. Hart, J.C. Howell, J.A. Parker and J.W. Raby. Honorary - Benjamin Wilkins, J.W. Howell, C.L. Parker, F.P. Barnes, R.E. Griffin, J.E. Edwards, Martin Knight, J.K. Riddick, C.W. Brinkley and C.W. Bain. O. Baines - is posted with Find a Grave Memorial #194456611. His parents, William W. & Mary Elizabeth (KNIGHT RABEY) BROTHERS, are also buried there. He served as a sergeant in Co. C, 2nd NC Cavalry. His half-brother Andrew Jackson RABEY, son of Kedar RABEY of Gates Co., NC, was also a Confederate veteran. Jackson served as a private in Co. I, 41st VA Infantry, then as first sergeant of a "guerilla" band.
