Rites Held For Hezekiah Brown 

  Funeral services for Hezekiah Brown, who died Tuesday, were conducted 
Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. John E. Timberlake, 
Jr., pastor of Suffolk Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in Holly Lawn 
Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were E.V. Alberts, F.H. Cathey, H. Stanley Hines, J. Woodville 
Holton, Don C. Pinner, Warren H. Wolfe, Vernon E. Tucker and L.F. Pettyjohn. 


Hezekiah BROWN, of Swan Quarter, NC, retired fish & oysterman, 
b. 8 Nov 1887*, Swan Quarter, Hyde Co., NC, d. 15 Oct 1963, Suffolk, 
interred in Holly Lawn Cemetery*, Suffolk, 17 Oct 1963, 
"Suffolk (VA) News-Herald," Vol. 41, No. 259, Fri., Oct. 18, 1963, p. 2
