Nathaniel Davis, assisted by Dr. H.J. Goodwin, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The choir, of which Miss Branch had been a member, sang, "In The Hour Of Trial" and "Home of The Soul," and as the casket was carried from the church Mrs. J. Gilmore Ware, organist, played "Going Home." A pall of red roses covered the casket, and there were many handsome floral tributes. Active pallbearers were Jack West, William Rawles, George Hudgins, James Parker, Roy Minnick, Ryland Edwards, B.L. Baker, Jr., and William Eley. Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery. Her father was a noted detective and bloodhound handler.
