IDA MAE PHELPS BARNES

   Suffolk, Nov. 5 - Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Mae Barnes were held 
Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at Western Branch Church by the Rev. J. 
Sydney Cobb, assisted by Dr. H.J. Goodwin.  The hymns, "The Old Rugged Cross," 
"Asleep With Jesus" and "Nearer My God, To Thee" were sung by the Western 
Branch Church Choir.  There were many beautiful floral tributes.

   Active pallbearers were Frank Phelps, Tom Phelps, Steve Phelps, Lessie 
Phelps, Clyde Mason, W. Barnes, W.P. Tarkington and C.A. Barnes.  Honorary 
pallbearers were friends of the family.  Burial was in Western Branch Church 
Cemetery.
