Brinkley were conducted at 2:30, Friday afternoon at the I.O. Hill and Company Funeral Home by Dr. A.L. Franklin, Rev. E.W. Rawlings, Rev. W.V. Carroll. During the service the Rev. Carroll read Tennyson’s "Crossing the Bar." The pall was of white carnations and white roses. Pallbearers were Lewis Brinkley, George Brinkley, H. Brinkley, James Brinkley, and James Britt. Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery. ****************************************************************************** J.W. BRINKLEY, 66, BURIED FRIDAY J.W. Brinkley, 66, well-known farmer of Nansemond County, died Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. G.L. Harmon, of Windsor. In addition to his sister, Mr. Brinkley is survived by four brothers, D.L. and R.C. Brinkley, Portsmouth; Roy Brinkley of Lynnhaven and James Brinkley of Windsor. Junius W.
