R.E. Brittle. The church choir sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "Abide With Me." The minister read "Crossing the Bar." Pallbearers were Erskine Watkins, Emmett Hewlett, M.M. Watkins, Clarence Booker, C.C. Clark and Edgar Eubank. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The casket cover was of white and lavender asters and Easter lilies.
