Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. Brittle and the Rev. Earl T. Farrell. Mr. Brittle read "Crossing the Bar." A quartet composed of Mrs. Wesley Brinkley, Miss Nancy Brinkley, Paul Parker and Mr. Brittle, sang "Does Jesus Care." A duet, Mrs. Wesley Brinkley and Miss Nancy Brinkley, sang "Under His Wing." They were accompanied by Mrs. Webb Pinner. His pall was of red roses and white carnations. Pallbearers were L.R. Redford, Grady Wright, Bill Bryant, N.T. Newton, Seth Jones, Willie Jones, Horace Brinkley and R.A. Perkins. Burial was in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
