BRINKLEY BRINKLEY BRINKLEY RITES TO BE HELD HERE FUNERAL OF WIFE OF O.C. BRINKLEY, WHO DIED IN ROANOKE, TOMORROW Mrs. Willie [sic; Winnie*] Brinkley, wife of O.C. Brinkley, died at her home in Roanoke at 3:30 p.m. yesterday following an illness of two weeks duration. The body was brought to Suffolk and to the home of her sister, Mrs. C.L. Pierce, 207 Clay Street, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The rites will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones and the Rev. Dr. John G. Truitt. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Besides her husband, Mrs. Brinkley is survived by four daughters and a son, Mrs. Fran Shivley, Mrs. Paul Myers, Mrs. Owen Burkholder, Miss Jacqueline Brinkley and O.C. Brinkley, Jr., all of Roanoke; her father Felton Brinkley, of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. C.L. Pierce and Mrs. A.E. Jones, both of Suffolk; and two brothers, Horace F. Brinkley, of Miami, Fla, and Bryan S. Brinkley of Norfolk, also three grandchildren.
