Cutchin] Mrs. T. A. Cutchin, 109 Gilpin avenue, Ocean View, the former Miss Effie Sone [sic; Stone] of Suffolk, died at a Norfolk hospital last night at 8 o'clock. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist church, Suffolk, tomorrow at 2 p.m. after which burial will take place in Cedar Hill cemetery. Besides her husband, Mrs. Cutchin is survived by a daughter, Evelyn, and two sons, Thomas, Jr., and Robert Cutchin; her mother, Mrs. J. Stone, of Suffolk; three brothers, Arthur E. and R. C. Stone of Suffolk, and Wallace Stone of Norfolk; and a sister, Mrs. W.R. Gray, Suffolk. ****************************************************************************** MRS. EFFIE STONE CUTCHINS [sic; CUTCHIN] Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Stone Cutchins, wife of T.H. Cutchins, Ocean View, were held at First Baptist church, Suffolk, this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. H.J. Goodwin. Burial was in Cedar Hill cemetery. Active pallbearers were H.H. Powell, E.E. Jones, W.V. Leathers, J.B. Crocker, Linton Johnson, Dr. O.R. Yates, A.B. Ballard and J.C. West. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers. ****************************************************************************** MRS. EFFIE S. CUTCHINS [sic; CUTCHIN] Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Stone Cutchins, who died in Norfolk, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at First Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. H.J. Goodwin, the Rev. Samuel S. Johnson, and the Rev Edgar A. Potts. A quartette composed of Mrs. Milton Johnson, Mrs. Paul Rawles, J.R. Vann, W.W. Ballard sang hymns, accompanied by Mrs. Linwood C. Lewis. The casket was covered with a pall of gladioli and fern. Active pallbearers: E.E. Jones, Milton Johnson, J.B. Crocker, J.D. Harrell, Clyde Gurley, Fritz O. Gardner, Marvin Vaughn [sic; Vaughan], C.J. Smith. Friends of the family were honorary pallbearers. Interment was made in Cedar Hill cemetery.
