Cottle Sr. Charles James Cottle Sr., 38, died Tuesday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. He was an inspector for the State Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ and Box Elder Hunt Club. He was the son of the late Walter R. and Mrs. Eunice Futch Cottle Sr. Survivors include a son, Charles James Cottle Jr., and a daughter, Miss Paula Lynn Cottle, both of Suffolk; and a sister, Mrs. Betty C. Pope of Manteo, N.C. A funeral will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Cliff B. Smith. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
