WILLIAM JASPER COTTEN

   Suffolk, Oct. 3 - William J. Cotten, 72, a resident of Chuckatuck, Va., 
died early Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter H. 
Norfleet, Jr., in Franklin, Va.  A funeral service will be held in Wesley 
Chapel Cemetery, in Chuckatuck, at 11 A.M. Monday.  In addition to his 
daughter, Mr. Cotton is survived by one son, George Frederick Cotton, of 
Norfolk; one brother, D. Cabell [sic; Corbell] Cotten, of Chuckatuck, and 
one granddaughter. 


William Jasper COTTEN, of Chuckatuck, retired farmer, 
d. 2 Oct 1950, at daughter's home, Franklin, age 72, 
interred in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery*, Chuckatuck,
