Carr Elizabeth Powell Carr, 93, of the 1500 block of Morris Ave., died Sept. 16, 1988, in her home. Mrs. Carr, a native of Suffolk, was the widow of James A. Carr. She was a member of Glad Tidings Baptist Church, Norfolk. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth C. Williamson of Orlando, Fla.; a son, D. Owen Carr of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday [Sept. 19, 1988] in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk, in charge.
