W.B. Daniels, retired. Burial will be in Oakland Christian Church Cemetery, Chuckatuck. Mrs. Carr, 66, wife of Robert Carr of Windsor, died Tuesday afternoon in Lane Nursing Home, Suffolk, after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Jacob and Mrs. Nancy Joyner Carr. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ruby L. Gay of Eclipse and Mrs. Bernice Gay of Windsor; a son, Luther Carr of Portsmouth; two foster daughters, Mrs. Ella Bradshaw of Eclipse and Mrs. Irene Mays of Windsor; 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Carr Buried At Chuckatuck Funeral services for Mrs. Roxanna Carr were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Baker Funral Home by the Rev. W.B. Daniels. Burial was in Oakland Christian Church Cemetery, Chuckatuck. Mrs. W.F. Whitley played an organ solo entitled "Going Home." The casket was covered with a pall of pink asters, Easter lilies and baby's breath. Pallbearers were Robert Lee Gay, James L. Gay, David R. Gay, John H. Babb, John Carr and Curtis Carr.
