Cross died at 6:20 o’clock Sunday afternoon at her home on Beech Street. Mrs. Cross had been afflicted several years, but the last illness was of only two weeks’ duration. A husband, three sons and a daughter survive her. The funeral was conducted at 4 o’clock this afternoon from the Baptist Church, Rev. J.F. Love officiating. The interment was in Cedar Hill, the following being pallbearers: A.A. Riddick, W.A. Walters, Charles Tucker, Mr. Check, William H. Howell, E.K. Channell; Honorary: Harry Brown, Joseph L. Little. Frank W. CROSS 17 Aug 1881, in Suffolk - his 2nd of 4 marriages. Their daughter Buena Vista CROSS AYERS' D.Cert. (1961 #6226) gives her mother as Sallie Oliver.
