RITES HERE FOR CROSS CHILDREN 

Burial To Be In Holland 

  SUFFOLK, Feb. 6. - Several services for the three Cross children whose lives 
were snuffed out Monday by carbon monoxide at their home in Broad Creek 
Village, will be held here at 3:30 p.m. today. 

  The dead children, Lois Ivonne [sic], 9, Patricia Gale, 8 [sic], and 
Ralph, 1, were the children of Mr. and Mrs. H. Ralph Cross, formerly of this 
city.  Their mother, Mrs. Grace E. [sic] Babb Cross, 29, was reported last 
night to be "about the same" at the DePaul Hospital where she was taken when 
overcome in the same tragedy. 

  The bodies of the children were taken from the James V. Derry Funeral Home 
to I.O. Hill and Company here.  Services will be conducted by Dr. John G. 
Truitt, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Baptist Church.  Burial will be in 
the Holland Cemetery. 

  The maternal grandparents of the children, Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Babb, reside in 
Kingsboro and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Holland [sic], 
reside at Holland.
